Abstract: 

Background: CELL PHONES have become a vital part of everyday life. However, the health risks associated with their usage are often overlooked.Materials and Methods: MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library and CINAHLPUBMED were searched for relevant trials published from respective database inception dates to Jun 2011.Results: Recently, evidence from several studies supports a growing claim that CELL phone usage may have a detrimental effect on sperm parameters leading to decreased male fertility. Nonetheless, other studies showed no conclusive link between male infertility and CELL phone usage.Conclusion: The ambiguity of such results is attributed to the lack of a centralized assay for measuring inflicted damage caused by CELL PHONES. Study design, ethics, and reproducibility are all aspects which must be standardized before any conclusions can be made.

Abstract: 

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Electronic equipment production is one of the major industrial sectors in Indonesia, as it also contributes to Indonesia’, s export commodities, which increase because of rapid technological developments. CELL PHONES, which have considerable potential to become electronic waste, recorded the enormous escalation in electronic production. This research aimed to increase community involvement and the collection of used CELL PHONES from households in e-waste management in Indonesia. A survey was conducted to explore a household’, s environmental awareness and willingness to recycle based on sociodemographics, environmental hazard awareness, and used CELL phone usage in Jabodetabek, Indonesia. METHODS: In this research, a peer questionnaire was used and organized into five sections: The first section contained the sociodemographic details of the respondents. The second section comprised multiple concerns that relate to recycling and environmental awareness. The third section contained the family CELL phone information. The fourth section determined the CELL phone consumer behavior. The fifth section consisted of willingness to recycle. Statistical correlations between variables were assessed, and the chi-square independence test was used to evaluate the statistical correlations. FINDINGS: Mostly the households will replace their used CELL phone if there is damage (66. 84%) and keep the used CELL phone at home (59. 5%), thus becoming an obstacle in applying the appropriate recycling system and a circular economy. The average CELL phone ownership in Jabodetabek is 1. 28 units, and the average CELL phone life span of people in Jabodetabek is 2. 6 years. The Environmental Hazard Awareness variable has significant differences with occupation and income level (p-value = 0. 028 and 0. 046), Used CELLphone Usage variable has significant differences with the income level variable (p-value = 0. 024). The others, a statistically significant difference between sociodemographic variable and Willingness to Recycle was observed,p-value = 0. 003 for age and p-value = 0. 034 for occupation. CONCLUSION: This paper showed that Environmental Hazard Awareness and Willingness to Recycle have an important role in increasing the collection of used CELL PHONES from households. . This study assessed community-based factors located in urban areas. The factors could encourage their participation in collection activities, obtain information on the preferred collection channels of residents, and provide a perspective for managing CELL PHONES through an analysis of the improvements and influences of Indonesia’, s current e-waste recycling program. Therefore, to develop a new strategy, the findings of this study can provide insights into the e-waste problem and citizen’, s awareness of e-waste management.

Abstract: 

Background: Infertility is defined as inability to conceive after a year of sexual intercourses without the use of contraceptives. In half of the cases the causative factor is the male. Males are exposed to the effect of various environmental factors, which may decrease their reproductive capabilities. Phone electromagnetic power is very small, only a few hundredths of a microwave oven, but because of CELL phone antenna close to the head when in use, emission of electromagnetic waves is very concentrated. Electromagnetic waves (EMW) can affect the reproductive system via an EMW-specific effect, thermal molecular effect or combination of both (thermal and non-thermal effects). Mobile phone radiation will destroy the immune system, leading to female infertility. Mobile phone radiation will destroy the immune system and genetic CELL birth to deformed children of women so and even lead to infertility. Almost a billion people around the world are using mobile PHONES and the number is growing fast.Materials and Methods: A PubMed search was conducted for the period of 2005 until now.Results: Both quality and quantity appear to be affected by heavy CELL phone use. The findings suggest millions of men may encounter difficulties in fathering a child due to the widespread use of mobile PHONES and offers another possible explanation for plummeting fertility levels, The eyes, breasts and testicles are the areas of the body most likely to absorb the energy. studies show that Men who used a mobile for more than four hours a day had a 25 per cent lower sperm count than men who never used a mobile. Somehow electromagnetic waves may be causing direct damage to these CELLs and that perhaps causes a decrease in sperm production. The greater the use of mobile PHONES, the greater the decrease in four parameters - sperm count, mobility, viability and morphology. CELL phone radiation may cause structural and functional injuries of the testis, alteration of semen parameters, and reduction of epididymal sperm concentration and decline of male fertility.Conclusion: The greatest effects were seen among very heavy users who talk on a mobile for more than four hours a day, both phenomena occur over short distances, so holding a phone at a distance from the crotch while speaking should not be dangerous. People use mobile PHONES without thinking twice what the consequences may be. but mobiles could be having a devastating effect on fertility. It still has to be proved but it could have a huge impact because mobiles are so much part of our lives.

Abstract: 

Due to the wide spread utility of the CELL PHONES in the world, grate concerns exist about the possible effects of its radiation on the well being of the living creatures. Based on the results of many studies, microwave radiation of mobile PHONES caused different derastic effects such as chromosome damage, single and double-stranded DNA breakage, increas the risk of mutation and variaty of cancers in the animals. Some researchers believe that the electromagnetic waves of mobile PHONES solely do not cause genetic damage, but it increases the genotoxic effect of other physical and chemical agents as well as environmental pollutants. In this paper, ad versed effects of the radiation from mobile PHONES on human and different animals such as mice, rat and guinea pig have been investigated.

Abstract: 

Background: The expansion of the use of audio and video media technology has faced society with many medical, cultural and economic challenges. In the meantime, excessive use of mobile PHONES can cause many problems. Objective: The aim of this study was to construct and validate a questionnaire on physical and psychological injuries of mobile PHONES. Method: The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational and confirmatory factor analysis. The statistical population of the study consisted of all citizens of Khorramabad with a diploma or higher in 1399, which was selected as a statistical sample by available sampling method of 200 people online and virtual. Results: The results showed that the factorized physical and psychological harm questionnaire of CELL phone with 42 questions and 10 components (fear of loss, vibration syndrome, duck syndrome, nomophobia, insomnia, hearing problem, eye syndrome, tunnel and neck syndrome SMS) and has good reliability, validity and flexibility in terms of psychometrics. Discussion and Conclusion: The questionnaire of factor analysis of physical and psychological injuries of mobile PHONES can be used to identify and study the physical and psychological injuries of mobile PHONES.

NOWADAYS EDUCATION IS MORE AND MORE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. ONE OF THE MOST ATTRACTIVE TECHNOLOGICAL DEVICES IS THE MOBILE PHONE WHICH REPRESENTS A REVOLUTION IN EDUCATION. THE TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM, BLACKBOARD, AND TEXTBOOKS CAN NO LONGER SATISFY THE NEEDS OF GENERATIONS OF STUDENTS USED TO HANDLE TECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS SINCE THEIR CHILDHOOD. TODAY ALMOST EVERYBODY USE MOBILE PHONES. OTHER THAN BEING AVAILABLE, MANY ARE EQUIPPED WITH FEATURES INCLUDING TEXT MESSAGING, BLUE TOOTH, INTERNET ACCESS, AND RUNNING GAMES, SOFTWARE AND MULTIMEDIA PROGRAMS ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF LANGUAGE LEARNING. THE PRESENT PAPER ATTEMPTS TO INVESTIGATE THE STUDIES DONE IN THIS DOMAIN AND OUTLINES THE MERITS AND DRAWBACKS OF THE APPLICATION OF MOBILE PHONES IN CLASSROOMS.
